Terms of Use
Effective 1 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and astrastudy (“we”, “us”) about your use of astrastudy. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use astrastudy.
The short version
- You must be at least 13. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms with you.
- astrastudy is an independent study tool. It isn't connected to College Board and can't guarantee any exam score.
- Do your own work: don't cheat on exams, share exam questions or get around exam lockdown.
- Our lessons and questions are for your own studying and your classes on astrastudy, not for copying or reselling.
- Teachers must have permission to use astrastudy with their students and must protect their students' information.
1. Who can use astrastudy
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18 (or the age of adulthood where you live), you may use astrastudy only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf.
2. What astrastudy is
astrastudy is an independent study resource for the AP Business with Personal Finance course. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by College Board. AP and Advanced Placement are registered trademarks of College Board. Our practice questions are original and are not official College Board questions.
We work hard to keep our content accurate and aligned with the official course framework, but it may contain mistakes, and using astrastudy doesn't guarantee any score, grade or result. Always follow your teacher's and College Board's official guidance. If you spot an error, please tell us at support@astrastudy.me.
astrastudy is currently free. If we ever introduce paid features, we'll tell you first, and you won't be charged without agreeing.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- Each account is for one person. Don't share it or use someone else's.
- Tell us right away at support@astrastudy.me if you think someone else has used your account.
4. Teacher (Admin) accounts
Teacher accounts are reviewed before we activate them, and we may decline or remove one at any time. If you use astrastudy as a teacher:
- You must be an educator, or otherwise authorized to teach the students you invite, and allowed to use astrastudy under your school's rules.
- Only let students you teach into your classes, and use their information only to teach them.
- Keep students' information confidential, and don't share your account or access code.
- Content you create (such as your own questions or lessons) must be yours or used with permission, and suitable for students.
5. Rules for using astrastudy
You agree not to:
- cheat on exams or help others cheat, including sharing exam questions or answers, or trying to get around exam lockdown;
- copy, scrape, download in bulk, republish or sell our lessons, questions or other content;
- harass, bully or impersonate anyone, or post anything unlawful, hateful or inappropriate for students;
- try to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or to get around security or access limits;
- interfere with the site, for example by overloading it or introducing malicious code;
- use astrastudy in any way that breaks the law.
6. Exams, lockdown and records
Unit tests and mock exams run in lockdown. Leaving the exam and attempts to copy, paste or use shortcuts are recorded and reported to your teacher, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your teacher decides when you see answers and explanations.
Our administrators can review exams, including while they're in progress, and can correct or change answers, scores, grades and other records, for example to fix errors or deal with misuse.
7. Our content and yours
astrastudy's lessons, questions, case studies, flashcards, design and software belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use them for your own studying, and teachers permission to use them with their classes on astrastudy. Real company figures in our case studies come from the companies' public filings, which we cite.
You keep ownership of what you create, such as your written answers, notes and any questions or lessons a teacher writes. You give us permission to store, display and process it so we can provide the service to you and to the people you share it with, such as your teacher or students. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using astrastudy and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users at risk or is required to be closed by law, and we may change or stop parts of the service. Where reasonable, we'll give notice first so you can export your data.
9. Disclaimers and limits on liability
astrastudy is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will always be available, error-free or suited to a particular purpose, and we aren't responsible for indirect losses, or for exam results, grades or decisions made using it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that can't be excluded, including consumer protection laws.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make important changes, we'll post them here with a new effective date and tell you on the site or by email before they apply. If you keep using astrastudy after that, you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be handled by the courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
